Yesterday was a day for riding on the ferries. We had to do a few chores, such as getting money from the ATM and gasoline. The first ATM was out of cash, and the second was being repaired. Gloria managed to talk the Brinks crew into letting her do one withdrawal. After the gas and bank, we lined up to catch the 1 pm ferry. It was a three-and-a-half journey down a beautiful fjord. Then, a 10 K Drive to the second ferry and a 45 min ride. We ended up in Chaiten about 7:30 pm.

At dinner, we met a couple from Amsterdam and another from Germany. We had a delicious dinner and lots of conversation with our new friends.

Both couples had rental cars and said renting was very inexpensive here in Chile. The couple from Amsterdam are visiting six countries and staying one month in each country.
