I have spent the last three days riding in the Tramuntana Mountains. They are rugged and hug the coast. The climbs are long but doable. The road surface I was smooth and the traffic was light. My days were not long as I wanted to stay in the beautiful towns of Port de Sóller and Banyalbufar. In Sóller I stayed in Hotel Eden right across from the beach and in Banyalbufarat the old Sa Baronia hotel.

In the early morning the sun hits the mountains and highlights the vegetation.

It is no wonder this section of Mallorca is a World Heritage Site. Todays ride is ranked number one on the list of Mallorca rides by Cicyle Fest. Again the views were outstanding of the Mediterranean far below on the right and the mountains on the left.
