The problem with doing this is I just don’t feel like taking the time. I would rather be walking around or eating or drinking then sitting in a hotel room composing another post.
Actually as I am doing this I am in a restaurant on the beach in Palma De Mallorca having beer and olives.
The flight from San Jose to Madrid, 10 hours, was uneventful except for the 2 hour weather delay. Flying this year was very different to what I experienced a year ago. Last year the plane was 1/3 full and all food was in a box. This year the service was almost back to normal, and the beverage cart was in operation. The only thing remaining was the masks and an organized deplaning.

I had to get a QR code that showed my Covid vaccination status. You can get yours at https://www.spth.gob.es/. They
checked it prior to boarding and once again when I arrivedin Madrid

A €30 cab ride took me to my hotel, the Regina, right beside the Four Seasons I enjoyed telling the driver to take me to the Four Seasons.

I decided to do a three hour electric bike tour. It got cancelled twice and screwed up my day. First time was 11 AM then they rebooked for 3:30 PM. Then they wanted to book the next day. No thank you.
I did however get to take in a very good, not that I would know good from average, Flamenco show. It was excellent.

It is nice to walk around and hear quality street performers. You can hear classical music, pop, and opera. This beats jugglers at the stoplights back home.
After two visits to Madrid I have not seem very much of that wonderful city. Oh well, maybe next year.

This morning I caught the 7 AM flight to Mallorca and checked into my hotel on the beach.
Tomorrow I pick up my bike for my tour of the island.
