We left Mollendo, a town trying to renew the old buildings near the beach. If they can, and they have a good start, it should be an excellent location.
Today’s ride was short 65k and 1605m uphill as we had to climb the coastal range. I was tired after that climb.
We got the bikes into a lovely, large, well-organized bike store. They promised the bikes for three PM tomorrow.
Now, we are off to check out the central plaza and find a good restaurant.
We have a 19,200 ft, snow-capped mountain called Misti that looks down on the city.

If you are cycling in or around or just passing through Arequipa and you need some work done on your bike I definitely recommend Strada. Great service, great store, super staff.
