We left our little cabin and headed down Route 7 to the Chilean border. We fought headwinds and many, many trucks during our climb through the majestic Andes. Our accommodation last night was in an old railroad station along an abandoned rail line.

There were so many mountains and small ski areas along the way that our progress was slowed because of the many photos we stopped to take.

One of the day’s many highlights was seeing Aconcagua, the highest mountain outside of Asia. Today, we have a short, cold ride to the frontier. Right now, my phone shows -2 and wind at 6.
