Since southern Bolivia, we have been riding along side multi-colored mountains and through amazing canyons and witnessing strange and exotic rock formations. Yesterday’s ride was no exception as we followed a semi-dry river upstream for 80k of the 130k ride. We spent the night in a charming town called Cafayate. “Cafayate is a town in Salta province, in northwest Argentina. It lies in the Calchaquí Valley, which has many vineyards. “ To celebrate arriving in one of Argentina's wine regions we splurged and ate at the oldest winery in the valley, Patios De Cafayate Wine Hotel.
