We left Concepcion, crossed the Bio Bio River, and followed it upstream for 35k before turning South. Observing this river reminded me of following the Columbia River to Astoria in Washington, as both are very wide and surrounded by forests. During the rest of this sunny, warm day, we passed by orchards of apples and cherries, and I saw a sign for Kiwi fruit. The next day was heavily overcast and cool; however, we were gifted with a nice tailwind from the north. Yesterday's ride reminded me of Alberta, with rolling hills, fields of grain, and Canola with its yellow flowers.

Our location for the night was a set of cabins on the Chol Chol River, which is in an area where many indigenous people live.
