Yesterday was a nonriding day in San Marcos. Today, we traveled 139k and 995 m. The morning threatened rain, but we missed it. Not as humid, and we had a smooth shoulder to ride on, although there was a lot of traffic. We stopped to see the famous tree of San Marcos. It is on the back of their 500 peso coin. It was a spectacular tree. As it spreads itself, it grows more roots.
