I am in a rush today so I can start riding before the wind decides to get up and start blowing as hard as it can. I managed to get in 140k yesterday before the wind was too strong to ride. Again it wanted to blow me into the center of the road and it was extremely difficult riding and keeping control of the bike, fortunately, there was very little traffic. I called it quits and left 165k or so for today. I loaded my bike in the car and drove into Punta Arenas, a large city about 100k further south. Found a nice two-bedroom cabin for $45 for the night. Today we will drive back to where I ended the ride yesterday and hope I can defeat the wind with an early start.
