Once again, our route took us through spectacular country, more mountains, waterfalls, rivers, and kilometers of climbing. Another thing that is different in Ecuador is the churches. Other than in Quito, the churches are smaller and shaped differently than the bigger ones in other countries. We are now in Loja, Ecuador, a vast city. We are here for two nights to rest our climbing legs as we have climbed 13,000k in the last eight days.
